Patient notes
Pediatrics
- Go to hospital, do not book, if
Your child is struggling to breathe, unusually drowsy or hard to wake, has a rash that does not fade under pressure, is not passing urine, has a fit, or is under three months old with a fever. Go in person, immediately.
- Have this ready before the call
Your child's weight, their temperature and when you took it, when symptoms started, and anything already given. Dosing is by weight, so a guess is not good enough.
- In an emergency
- Go to the nearest hospital or call 1990 Suwa Seriya. General information, not medical advice.
